....The
main door had opened straight into the hallway from the freezing
wind blowing in from outside the building. This problem ....was
conquered by the stirling efforts of Ben, Simon and their young Russian
'slave'
Ira between them they built a ....substancial
porch with
a roof guttering and a snug closed area designed to keep the cold out
of the building.The Directors ....and Staff at the Orphanages were
totally
overwhelmed with them projects
we achieved in such a short period of time. It ....was wonderful for.them
as unfortunately they have neither the know-how or the money to achieve
anything like it.
....At
Gdov the clumsy and much-cluttered
old kitchen facilities with no hot water (Pic left) was replaced by Colin
one of our
... long serving voluteers with a brand new kitchen complete
with new stainless steel sink top and matching mixer tap.
....Old
bathroom had virtually nothing working was completely transformed with
new toilets, new bath with shower
....attachment, newly tiled floor and new washing machine installed
