Interested in helping others? Like to see another country? Why not spend a week helping some of the poor children of Eastern Europe?

Each year we arrange for a group of volunteers, both skilled and unskilled to work in the St Petersburg Regional Children's Hospital as featured in the BBC TV Children's Hospital programme. We work, painting, decorating and making other improvements in an effort to make the children's stay at the hospital more comfortable and less daunting.

The conditions in the wards are extremely poor, some are badly in need of decoration, new lighting, flooring, repairs to broken beds etc. Our efforts are really worthwhile and greatly appreciated by the staff, but even more so by
the children whose smiles say a thousand words.

We are a registered charity (Charity Number 1094153) and all monies raised go directly to funding the purchase of material needed to carry out the individual projects at the hospital.
